The bar showcases the character of the wine estate. Walls are panelled with strips of oak used in wine vats and a chandelier from an uprooted Sauvignon Blanc vine hangs overhead. Madiba, Venus, Susarah and Niobe proteas greet you at the door.

Some guests enjoy wine-friendly nibbles at the old wooden bar counter, a few have settled on vintage chairs and a party spill out onto Bird street glasses in hand. The Bartinney wines are the flagship and the mischievous Noble Savage range makes good quality wines accessible. Celebrate with some Brut Savagé Méthode Cap Classique or French Champagne.
